The high-performance sound-absorbing and thermal insulation material of PPS adopts the blowing and melting process to mix the ultrafine PPS fiber with a diameter of 1um and the thicker PPS three-dimensional curly staple fiber to form a porous sound-absorbing material with a three-dimensional network structure. It maintains the excellent sound absorption performance of blowing and melting process materials; At the same time, it also has other excellent characteristics inherent in PPS: it has excellent heat resistance, can be used for a long time at 230 ℃, can withstand high temperature of 260 ℃ in a short time, and its heat resistance far exceeds PA, PET and other engineering plastics. Excellent chemical corrosion resistance and insoluble in any solvent below 170 ℃, under the condition of 200 ℃, it can withstand the corrosion of acid, alkali, salt and other media; the material itself is flame retardant, and the limit oxygen index can reach 45%; it can still maintain good insulation under the conditions of high temperature and high humidity. Very suitable for aerospace, aviation, high-speed rail and other high-end sound insulation applications.
